As an activist, he feels that we all have an obligation to leave the world better than we have found it. In the past few years, Will has put much time and effort into trying to effect social and political change on a variety of issues, most recently being the contract negotiations for Tufts janitors. Everyone at Tufts wants to change the world, and Will feels that sometimes people get so caught up in being scholarly and learning about problems across the globe that they often forget that it is important to never be afraid of getting their hands dirty—especially in issues in our local community. Outside of academics and activism, Will enjoys spending time with good people and playing acoustic guitar. “I love my friends, family, and my hometown: Hopkinton, New Hampshire,” he says. Will is on the Ultimate Frisbee team, plays intramural volleyball and dodgeball, and is a big fan of Barack Obama, the movie Fight Club, and everything bagels. He wants to go abroad next year, although he’s not sure where yet; right now, he is focusing on getting the most out of his time here at Tufts and out of life in general.
