Prior to becoming Director of Congressional Relations for the Peace Corps from 1993-97, Ms. Timoney spent 14 years working on Capitol Hill. She was a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal from 1978-80. Ms. Timoney recently returned from a visit to Africa where she met with Crisis Corps Volunteers.
