Mark Rozanski is an Investment Officer in the International Finance Corporation's (IFC) Global Financial Markets Group -- with the commercial bank financing and microfinance practices. IFC is a member of the World Bank Group -- it is the group's private-sector investment and advisory services arm. He ran the Boston Marathon in 2003.

Gail Schechter is the executive director of the Interfaith Housing Center of the Northern Suburbs, a fair housing agency. Interfaith received the 2003 Community Service Award from the Evanston/North Shore NAACP. She's also on the board of directors of the Statewide Housing Action Coalition (SHAC). During the spring of 2002, she completed a study for the Brookings Institution, under a sub-contract with the Center for Neighborhood Technology, of a history of land reform in Chicago, part of a national study of urban areas and land use.
