The annual conference will feature a celebrated keynote, panels of business leaders and policy experts, and a networking luncheon. The conference will incorporate Tufts' unique international perspective as it examines the environmental, security, and economic facets of the global energy crisis.
ESI will have a number of events, including discussion fora and guest speakers, to recognize Massachusetts first annual Clean Energy week. ESI will also organize delegations to attend the Conference on Clean Energy in Boston and the UMass Cleantech Conference in Pittsfield.
Professor Bruce Everett is a Fletcher grad and Fulbright scholar who worked as a project manager at ExxonMobil for 22 years. He teaches Petroleum in the Global Economy at the Fletcher School and the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. He will speak on "The Future of Fossil Fuels."

As a follow up to the conference, the UK trade consulate in Massachusetts brought three UK energy professionals to Tufts to discuss energy issues with members of the ESI. The consulate expressed interested in helping to facilitate collaboration between Tufts and the Imperial College of London.
Transforming the Energy Market: Our New Generation
The ESI hosted the 3rd annual Tufts Energy Conference. The conference consisted of three panels and three keynote addresses throughout the day, as well as a networking lunch. The event drew nearly 200 undergraduate, graduate students and industry professionals from the greater Boston area.
