2010 Tufts Energy Conference

April 16, 2010 to April 17, 2010
1:00pm6:00pm
Program:

The way humans produce, distribute, and consume energy have changed dramatically over the past hundred years. The amount of power needed only increases.

With global concerns over its supply and a push towards a clean energy revolution, we are conscious of the vital role energy plays in our daily lives more than ever before. What can we learn from past crises in energy supply and changing conditions of the market to more efficiently solve those we now face? How must our energy systems adapt? What are the implications for human society?

TEC 2010 will examine how our energy systems have evolved since the industrial revolution and the challenges these systems face as we enter the 21st century.
