Discourse Volume 1 Launch

After countless edits, design revisions, and logistical challenges over the better part of a year, the inaugural issue of Discourse was officially unveiled for the first time on the Tufts campus at the end of the April. Jim Henry, former chief economist for McKinsey & Co., former VP of Strategy for IBM/Lotus, author of Blood Bankers: Tales from the Global Underground Economy and former EPIIC Symposium panelist, spoke at the event, sharing a brief autobiographical sketch about his experiences in investigative economic journalism and its impact on economic development. Mr. Henry also introduced an opportunity for students to work with him over the summer on investigative research on topics related to global financial transparency.
