Professor Seymour Melman
Chairman of the newly formeed National Commission for Economic Conversion and Disarmament. He is author of the Permanent War Economy: American Capitalism in Decline; Disarmament: Its Politics and Economics; Pentagon Capitalism and Profits without Production. He is also Professor Emeritus of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University.

Mr. Franklin Lindsay
Vice Chairman of the Committee on Economic Development and the former Chairman of the Itek Corporation. An OSS officer in Yugoslavia, Mr. Lindsay was the chair of the Intelligence Study Group of the Institute of Politics at Harvard University in 1975.

Nuclear Capablities: Strategic Defense, Can We Afford It?
Professor Gary Goldstein
Professor of Physics at Tufts University, is also a Visiting Scientist in the Program in Science and Technology for International Security at MIT. Having published over 80 articles in professional journals and books, his research interests have been primarily in the theory of elementary particles at intermediate and high energies. He has been an active opponent of SDI, holding membership in the Union of Concerned Scientists.

Dr. Paul Walker
Co-Director of the Institute for Peace and International Security. The former director on arms control issues for the Union of Concerned Scientists and the national education director of the Physicians for Social Responsibility, he is one of the co-authors of Post-Reagan America.
